For your prelim evaluation, please answer the questions on Page C3 in your folder. Post your answers to your blog, using the label 'prelim task'.
Your deadline is Friday 22nd Oct by break - you will need to achieve sign-off any time before then
You will also need to post your prelim video as evidence of your work. These are being uploaded to youtube for you, you will find them on the latymermedia channel (www.youtube.com/latymermedia)and they are on the playlist called Year 12 Prelims 2010.
Illustrate your answers where possible with visual evidence. For example, for Q1, you could add a photo of you with your prelim group. For Q2, you will need to scan and link your planning documents (see below for help). For Q3, you could compose a photo of you/your group with all the technology that you used.
Uploading your prelim documents/ photos
During your lessons next week, we can provide you with cameras, and a scanner and support with uploading your documents if needed.
These will need to be photographed (good for storyboards) or scanned. If you need a hosting site, they
can be uploaded to photobucket (images) or scribd.com (text)
You can then embed them directly into your prelim evaluation post(s).
To access Photobucket, follow this link to the latymermedia homepage
To access scribd, follow this link to the latymermedia homepage, and look for the folder (click My Collections) called Prelims 2010.
Use media@latymer to sign in to either site with the usual password.

Homework for week 6
I would like to establish how much you have understood about the principles of continuity.
Task:
1. Choose a short continuity sequence from a film, and link it to your blog in the correct way.
2.Deconstruct the sequence, focusing your analysis particularly on the specific continuity techniques used to make the sequence flow and make sense.
Also:
3. Arrange and attend a planning meeting with prelim group and plan out your continuity sequence so you are ready for next week

Have a look at the continuity techniques used to get Mrs Brenner through the door and into the house.
How would you have actually filmed this sequence?
